Some of the most iconic and cult-classic BMW’s will be up for auction in Johannesburg on Thursday.
Two 325iS’s, an E46 M3 CSL and an ultra rare 333i are just some of the cars you could buy if you’ve got the bucks of course.
These particular model BMW’s have not only grown in popularity because of their sheer driving pleasure but also because of the monetary value they retain.
You can expect to pay north of a million Rand for a clean 325iS and well over R1.5 million for the CSL. The 333i? well… who knows what that could go for.
It is all going down at Creative Rides Auction showroom on Main Road in Bryanston, Gauteng.
Bidding will start at 6:30pm with six iconic BMW’s headlining the 33-car auction.

In addition to the BMW’s, there is a line up of classic Mercedes Benz models as well. These include Mercs from the period between 1950 and 1970.
You can also expect to find a couple Porsche’s, some Alfa GTA’s. There’s also a Ferrari Maranello, the shape Mike Lowrey’s chased down the Haitians with in Bad Boys 2.
“We are particularly thrilled to be offering these iconic BMWs to the public,” says Kevin Derrick, CEO of Creative Rides. “Each of these cars represents a unique chapter in BMW’s history, and we expect a strong turnout from passionate collectors.”
The six BMW models include a 1972 BMW 3.0 CSL E9, 1985 BMW M635CSi, 1987 BMW E30 333i, 1988 BMW M5 E28 series, a 1991 and 1993 BMW 325iS Evo, and the 2005 BMW M3 CSL E46.
